PETALING JAYA: The Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) examination will be held nationwide from tomorrow to Dec 10.
Malaysian Examinations Council (MEC) public relations officer Khawari Idris said a total of 55,635 candidates would be sitting for the examination at 758 centres.
“Candidates are reminded to bring their identity card and Candidate Registration Entry Report (LPKC1 or LPKC2) during the examination,” he said in a statement yesterday.
PUTRAJAYA: The Primary School Achievement Test (UPSR) results will be released on Thursday, said Education Director-General Tan Sri Alimuddin Mohd Dom.
“Pupils can collect their results from their respective schools from 10am onwards,” he said at an event to celebrate the success of the Malaysian contingent named the overall champion at the World Robot Olympiad 2009 in Korea.
In September, 517,908 Year Six pupils sat for the examination.
PETALING JAYA: The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination will be held nationwide from Nov 18 to Dec 16.
Education director-general Tan Sri Alimuddin Mohd Dom said a total of 465,853 candidates will sit for the examination in 3,569 centres.
“Candidates are reminded to bring their identity card and SPM candidate form (Borang Perakuan Calon Peperiksaan SPM Tahun 2009) with them every day,” he said in a statement.
He reminded students to check the timetable for the dates of their papers.

PUTRAJAYA: Mulai tahun depan, pengiraan merit untuk kemasukan ke institusi pengajian tinggi awam (IPTA) bagi pelajar lepasan Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2009 dan setaraf akan menggunakan penggredan baru.
Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Pengajian Tinggi, Prof Datuk Dr Radin Umar Radin Sohadi, berkata perubahan berkenaan selaras pengenalan sistem penggredan baru oleh Kementerian Pelajaran untuk pelajar SPM 2009.
